The BWAA Announces Its 2023 Annual Award Nominees

The Boxing Writers Association of America would like to announce its nominees for its annual year-end awards for 2023.

In a nomination meeting on Saturday, the BWAA determined the top candidates from 2023 for Fighter of the Year, Fight of the Year, Trainer of the Year, Manager of the Year, Most Courageous, Long and Meritorious and the Taub award for excellence in broadcasting journalism.

All full and auxiliary BWAA members are eligible to vote, if their dues are paid for 2024. Voting can be done on the BWAA.org website under the ballot/voting tab. Only BWAA member's votes will register (non-members are automatically discarded).

The voting deadline will be Friday, January 19, at 12-noon ET, when the award winners will be announced after all award winners are personally notified.
